## Admissions

Study semiconductor physics and integrated-circuit design, with practical work in circuit measurement and micro/nano manufacturing.

This programme assesses academic preparation and English proficiency through its own postgraduate application process.

- Hold a recognised bachelor’s degree, normally with at least Second Class honours or an average grade of B, or an accepted equivalent qualification.
- Meet English requirements, for example IELTS Academic 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 79/120; an English-medium degree is an accepted alternative subject to review.
- TOEFL and IELTS results are valid for two years; TOEFL MyBest and IELTS One Skill Retake are not accepted.

Steps:

1. Submit the programme application through the CUHK-Shenzhen postgraduate application system and pay the required application charge.
2. Upload the academic and application documents, and enter two referees so confidential references can be requested.
3. Attend the selection assessment if invited and respond to the programme-specific offer and registration instructions.
