## Teaching phases

- Years 1-2: pre-clinical phase (English): Anatomy, Bio-chemistry and Physiology form the foundational pre-clinical curriculum ahead of clinical training.
- Years 3-5: para-clinical and clinical phases (English): Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology and Pathology lead into clinical training in Medicine and Allied Subjects, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pharmacology, and Surgery and Allied Subjects.
- Year 6: compulsory rotatory internship (English): A BMDC-recognized one-year rotatory internship, which can be completed at DCIMC's own 500-bed teaching hospital, carries a subsistence allowance and concludes with an internship certificate.
