## Admissions

Duke’s Global Health MS is advertised as a two-year programme. Its programme page also allows 1.5–2 years, with 38 credits and at least three semesters; confirm your individual study plan. Research and fieldwork may be international, while study at Duke is selective rather than guaranteed.

Programme, citizenship and approved study-location conditions determine eligibility.

- Hold a recognised bachelor degree or equivalent before expected mid-August 2027 enrollment. No single undergraduate major is required.
- Submit transcripts, a statement, CV and three recommendations through the programme portal. At least two academic referees are recommended.
- Non-native English minimums: TOEFL iBT 90 before 21 January 2026 or 5 on/after that date, IELTS 7 with no minimum subscores, or Duolingo 125.
- For Fall 2027, English scores must be earned on/after 1 August 2025 and submitted through official score delivery.
- The English waiver requires two years of full-time study solely in English in a country/region where English is the primary language, completed before application.
- A prior English-medium degree elsewhere is not an automatic waiver. Follow the programme’s optional GRE instructions.
