## Admissions

The four-year Bachelor of Cybersecurity combines two years of IIT Madras coursework with two years of field deployment in selected government organisations. Its dedicated Indian-national selection route uses JEE Main results, prior cybersecurity work and further assessment.

These requirements apply to the documented admission route. Qualifications, entrance tests and nationality/category rules must be assessed together.

- Only Indian nationals are eligible for the documented 2026 joint-selection route.
- Pass Class XII/equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and at least five subjects; NIOS candidates are eligible.
- Born on/after 1 October 2001; five-year age relaxation for SC/ST/PwD. Apply at most twice, in consecutive years.
- Shortlisting uses the best JEE Main score from 2025 or 2026 and evidence of prior cybersecurity work. Complete the IIT Kanpur test/hackathon and the programme’s final selection.
- Earlier IIT admission/ineligible concurrent enrolment rules apply, with the specified preparatory, nonreporting and pre-final-round withdrawal/cancellation exceptions.

Steps:

2. Submit the qualifying records and test results, complete the selection or allocation process, and accept the written offer.
3. Complete original-document verification and confirm the cohort’s fees, joining instructions and accommodation before reporting.
