## Who can apply

- Availability: global
- Eligible: Indian applicants meeting the 2026 integrated-MA qualification and age rules
- Eligible: Foreign nationals meeting the equivalent qualification rules through self-financing direct admission
- Restriction: The academic, mathematics and age rules below concern the 2026 admission cycle, not an announced future intake.
- Restriction: Foreign self-financing applicants require an equivalent qualifying examination and the same minimum academic qualifications. Indian reserved-category concessions are not automatically extended to foreign applicants.
- Restriction: For foreign qualifications, MSE checks correspondence against the AIU list; an unlisted university or board requires an AIU equivalence certificate.
- Restriction: Foreign applicants submit attested English translations of transcripts. Overseas records also require the stated authorised-government-agency attestation and Indian Embassy or Consulate certification.
- Restriction: Foreign self-financing applicants do not take the entrance test. This foreign-national exemption is not automatically an exemption for every Indian-passport NRI applicant.

The integrated-MA 2026 brochure itself establishes the foreign route and equivalence documents. No MA/MSc English-test threshold is imported into this integrated programme.

## Admissions

This five-year integrated economics degree has three- and four-year exit awards. Indian applicants take the MSE entrance test; eligible foreign nationals have a separate self-financing route.

Use the correct Indian, NRI or foreign self-financing route; nationality alone does not waive academic or documentation conditions.

- For 2026 entry, pass 10+2 on the first attempt in the final 2026 academic-year cohort; candidates appearing in May 2026 could also apply.
- Indian-route marks: 65% General, 60% eligible OBC-NCL, or 50% eligible SC/ST/PwD; equivalent grades or credits are accepted.
- Study Standard, Applied or Business Mathematics at 10+2.
- Be under 22 on 1 July 2026.
- Foreign self-financing applicants need equivalent qualifying examinations and the same minimum qualifications; a foreign passport does not establish an Indian reservation concession.

Steps:

1. Check the 2026 qualification, mathematics, age and applicant-category conditions before selecting the admission route.
2. Indian-route applicants complete the MSE online application and take the designated entrance test; qualifying marks and age break entrance-score ties.
3. Foreign self-financing applicants send the prescribed application, bio-data and academic qualifications to the designated BA Students Office; no entrance test applies to this route.
4. Submit the required equivalence, translated and authenticated qualification records for review before completing admission and category-specific fee payment.

- Document: 10+2 marksheet and qualifying-examination certificate
- Document: Records showing Standard, Applied or Business Mathematics at 10+2
- Document: Foreign route: AIU equivalence certificate if the university or board is not in the AIU list
- Document: Foreign route: duly attested English translations of all transcripts
- Document: Overseas records: authorised-government-agency attestation and Indian Embassy or Consulate certification
- Application document: Prescribed programme application
- Application document: Foreign self-financing route: bio-data and academic qualification details
These requirements describe the 2026 admission cycle. Its application windows are not a promise of a current opening or a future intake; confirm the next published cycle before applying.

## Teaching phases
