Fee notes: This is a one-year degree, so the annual figure is also the full tuition: INR 4,00,000. Residential charges are INR 1,81,100 a year, lower than the undergraduate rate, and other allied service charges are INR 1,24,900 a year, giving a residential year of INR 7,06,000 before the one-time refundable security deposit of INR 50,000. JGU states that tuition, residential and allied service charges are subject to an annual increase of ten percent, which matters for the cohort entering after this one rather than within the single year of study.

## Teaching phases

- One-year master's, four terms (English): The JGU Academic Calendar 2026-2027 divides the one-year master's structure into four terms: 3 August to 25 September 2026, 12 October to 4 December 2026, 1 February to 26 March 2027 and 12 April to 4 June 2027, with reading, revision and examination periods after each.
- Applied component (English): A mandatory two-credit internship runs during the academic year. In the final two quarters students take either a dissertation or additional electives, and those seeking more extensive applied work may opt for a six-month capstone project.
