Fee notes: Kathir College of Engineering (KCE)'s 2026-27 AICTE mandatory disclosure lists MBA tuition of INR 60,000 a year for both government-quota and management-quota seats, as approved by Tamil Nadu's fee committee and paid yearly at the start of the odd semester. - Restriction: Government-quota seats go through Tamil Nadu's single-window MBA/MCA counselling, which uses TANCET scores and Tamil Nadu reservation rules.

The college admits men and women. The Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA 2026-27 college booklet lists KCE (college code 2745) with an approved MBA intake of 60, started in 2009.

## Admissions

The Master of Business Administration at Kathir College of Engineering (KCE) is a two-year, four-semester Anna University degree taught in English at Neelambur, Coimbatore. Government-quota seats are allotted through the Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA single-window counselling (college code 2745) on TANCET scores, and management-quota seats are filled separately.

TANCET 2026 sets the MBA qualification that Tamil Nadu's MBA/MCA counselling and Anna University-affiliated colleges admit against.

Steps:

1. Take TANCET (MBA) at tancet.annauniv.edu; the 2026 test was held on 9 May 2026
2. For a government-quota seat, apply in the Tamil Nadu MBA/MCA 2026-27 single-window counselling run by the Directorate of Technical Education and choose college code 2745
3. For a management-quota seat, apply to KCE through its online application form or admissions office at kathirce@gmail.com
4. Submit degree, school and community certificates for verification and pay the fees to confirm the seat

## Teaching phases

- Years 1-2 (4 semesters) (English): KCE's own MBA curriculum under its autonomous status, with specialisations listed in Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain, Tourism, and Infrastructure and Real Estate Management. KCE's Controller of Examinations runs the exams; Anna University awards the degree.
