Fee notes: LPU publishes three per-semester tuition tiers for this programme and the tier is set by nationality. SAARC applicants (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka) are billed INR 80,000 per semester; applicants from Africa and a defined list of other countries pay USD 1500 per semester; all other nationalities pay USD 3000 per semester, which is the figure carried in the catalogue total. A one-time uniform charge of USD 80 (INR 6,000 on the SAARC tier) and an examination fee of USD 75 per semester (INR 5,000 on the SAARC tier) are charged on top of tuition, along with a one-time non-refundable admission processing fee. Merit scholarships cut tuition by 60, 50 or 40 per cent depending on qualifying-exam marks or the LPUIST score and apply for the standard duration of the programme. Students billed in US dollars may pay the initial instalment in USD and the balance in INR, and later semester fees in either currency. The fee and scholarship structure chosen at admission stays fixed for the whole programme.
