- Hold a bachelor’s degree in architecture, urban planning, sociology, geography, management or a related field.
- For the self-sponsored route, be a healthy non-Chinese citizen under 40 and complete the bachelor’s degree by July 2027.
- Non-native English applicants need TOEFL at least 85 on the 0–120 scale or 4.5 on the 1–6 scale, IELTS at least 6.0, or Duolingo at least 100.
- Reach HSK Level 3 before graduation; English instruction does not remove the Chinese graduation requirement.
- Submit a portfolio of relevant architecture or planning work.

Steps:

1. Apply through nju.17gz.org, select the exact school and programme, and upload the required materials.
2. Pay the CNY 600 non-refundable application fee for the self-sponsored route.
3. Respond to initial-review requests and any school written test or interview; monitor system messages and email.
4. Review the admission decision, follow the offer’s instructions and bring original qualification documents for registration.
5. For 2027 CSC Type B: after NJU pre-admission, submit the CSC application before 17 March 2027, using agency 10284 and Type B.
