## Admissions

A five-year full-time architecture degree combining architectural study, design studios and practical or professional training requirements. Architecture has its own qualifying subjects and entrance paper, with separately assessed overseas routes.

These are the documented requirements for the named admission route. Academic subjects, marks, entrance paper and any nationality conditions must be considered together.

- For JoSAA/CSAB 2026: first Class XII/equivalent appearance in 2024, 2025 or 2026, with at least five subjects; meet 75% aggregate (65% SC/ST/PwD) or the category-wise top-20-percentile criterion.
- For B.Arch, the JoSAA NIT+ qualifying-school subject combination is Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and two other subjects; use the prescribed five-subject aggregate.
- Obtain the required JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 A (B.Arch) rank and architecture allocation through JoSAA/CSAB, with all category and qualifying-examination rules.
- DASA B.Arch uses Paper 2 A, birth on/after 1 October 2001 and 75%/7.5 qualifying aggregate; accepted schooling is 10+2 PCM or the specified 10+3 diploma with Mathematics.
- DASA foreign/OCI/PIO/NRI categories and residence evidence are separate: Indian nationals need the stipulated two years of foreign education including Classes XI–XII and must pass them abroad.
- JoSAA NIT+ seats exclude foreign nationals and OCI/PIO(F). Pre-4-March-2021 OCI/PIO holders choosing Indian parity may use OPEN/OPEN-PwD seats; later cards require the separate eligible overseas route.
