## Admissions

A four-year full-time undergraduate engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering. The curriculum includes engineering foundations, disciplinary courses and practical or project requirements. Domestic counselling and overseas admission categories have different conditions.

These are the documented requirements for the named admission route. Academic subjects, marks, entrance paper and any nationality conditions must be considered together.

- For JoSAA/CSAB 2026: first Class XII/equivalent appearance in 2024, 2025 or 2026, with at least five subjects; meet 75% aggregate (65% SC/ST/PwD) or the category-wise top-20-percentile criterion.
- For B.Tech, pass Physics, Mathematics, a language, one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject and one other subject; the prescribed five-subject aggregation applies.
- Obtain the required JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 rank and programme allocation through JoSAA/CSAB; the exact nationality, category and seat-allocation rules apply.
- DASA 2026 uses JEE Main Paper 1, birth on/after 1 October 2001 and 75%/7.5 aggregate in five subjects, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology.
- DASA foreign/OCI/PIO/NRI categories and residence evidence are separate: Indian nationals need the stipulated two years of foreign education including Classes XI–XII and must pass them abroad.
- JoSAA NIT+ seats exclude foreign nationals and OCI/PIO(F). Pre-4-March-2021 OCI/PIO holders choosing Indian parity may use OPEN/OPEN-PwD seats; later cards require the separate eligible overseas route.
