## Teaching phases

- Years 1-2: theoretical foundation (English): Anatomy, biology, biochemistry, biophysics, histology and physiology, alongside compulsory Czech-language classes.
- Semesters 5-7: preclinical subjects (English): Pathology, microbiology and pharmacology, transitioning into clinical subjects including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics/gynaecology and neurology.
- Year 6: clinical bedside training and state examinations (English): Full-time bedside clinical training at University Hospital Olomouc, concluding with final state examinations in Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology/Obstetrics and Epidemiology/Law/Social Medicine.
