## Teaching phases

- Years 1-3: basic sciences (English): Anatomy, physiology, genetics, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology and pharmacology, concluding with a Kaplan-run Comprehensive Basic Science Review ahead of USMLE Step 1.
- Years 4-6: clinical rotations (English): Ward-based rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, psychiatry and radiology, continuing through subspecialties and elective clinical placements, including electives abroad via AAMC VSLO membership.
