Fee notes: Tagore Engineering College (TEC)'s 2026-27 AICTE mandatory disclosure publishes the Tamil Nadu fee committee's tuition for 2025-26 admissions to non-accredited branches such as the B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security): INR 50,000 a year for TNEA government-quota seats and INR 85,000 a year for management-quota seats. The disclosure prints no separate 2026-27 figure, so confirm the 2026-27 fee with the college. TNEA's 2026 college booklet lists a caution deposit of INR 5,000, an establishment charge of INR 2,500, no admission fee and college transport at INR 10,000 to 45,000 a year; the disclosure estimates hostel boarding and lodging at INR 85,000 a year. ## Admissions

The B.E. Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) at Tagore Engineering College (TEC) is a four-year, eight-semester Anna University degree taught in English at Rathinamangalam, Vandalur, Chennai. - TNEA nativity rules apply: Tamil Nadu schooling for Classes 8 to 12, Tamil Nadu nativity certificate, or another listed category
- Diploma holders, and B.Sc. graduates with Mathematics, may apply for lateral entry to the third semester under Government of Tamil Nadu norms

Steps:

1. Register and apply online at tneaonline.org (registration fee INR 500, or INR 250 for SC/SCA/ST); TNEA 2026 registration ran 3 May to 5 June 2026
2. Upload Class 10, 11 and 12 mark sheets, transfer certificate and any community, nativity, income or first-graduate certificates for verification
3. Check the TNEA rank, computed from Mathematics (100), Physics (50) and Chemistry (50), on the published rank list
4. Fill choices online in your counselling round, entering college code 1420 with branch SC, then confirm the tentative allotment
5. Download the allotment order, report to TEC within 5 days and pay the fees to complete admission
6. For a management-quota seat, apply directly to the TEC admission office (forms from the college office; admission phone +91 75400 54222)
