Fee notes: 2026–27 domestic tuition is INR 4,500 per semester; INR 9,000 annual tuition is two-semester arithmetic. The admission semester total is INR 23,000, including tuition and other charges; the even-semester tour charge falls from INR 2,500 to INR 300, while the INR 100 calendar charge applies in odd semesters. ## Admissions

- Pass every subject in a recognised 10+2 academic examination with the programme’s required subject combination.
- General counselling: Tamil Nadu nativity; applicants who studied Classes 10–12 in Tamil Nadu may enter the Open category with valid proof.
- Four-subject aggregate: OC 55%; BC/BCM 50%; MBC/DNC 45%; SC/SCA/ST a pass in all required subjects.
- On 1 July 2026, age must be below 21; no age limit for SC/SCA/ST and five years relaxation for differently abled applicants.
- Qualifying-exam attempts: up to three for SC/SCA/ST and two for other communities. Additional subjects and grace marks do not enter ranking.
- Selection uses the eligible school-subject aggregate and counselling; no separate TNAU undergraduate entrance examination.
- A separate 5% Tamil Nadu vocational-stream quota applies to this course; other-state or other-board vocational qualifications are not accepted.

Steps:

1. Register in TNAU’s joint UG application portal and choose the exact TNAU constituent college, course and medium.
2. Upload qualifying subject marks and identity, nativity and relevant category records; pay the applicable application fee.
3. Participate in the specified counselling route, accept the allotment, pay the required amount and attend original-certificate verification.
4. Complete the allotted college’s joining and semester registration instructions; arrange accommodation and the full mandatory fee budget.
