## Admissions

Two-year, four-semester Biotechnology master’s in self-supporting mode at TNJFU’s OMR campus includes practical study and research project work.

- Four-year B.Tech. Biotechnology from TNJFU or another university recognised under the notified route.
- OGPA at least 2.75/4 under trimester or 6.5/10 or 65% aggregate under semester; a minimum pass suffices for SC/ST applicants.
- Tamil Nadu candidates are considered first under communal reservation; applicants from other Indian states may compete for unfilled seats.
- Selection includes the university entrance examination and counselling.
