## Admissions

This one-year LL.M. in Business Law follows the semester pattern at the Center for Post-Graduate Legal Studies in TNNLU, Tiruchirappalli. It develops advanced legal study in business law with academic and research work; admission is based on CLAT merit and applicable category allocation.

The current 2027–28 brochure gives the following graduate-entry and selection rules.

- A three-year or five-year B.L., LL.B., B.L. (Hons.), LL.B. (Hons.), B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) or equivalent qualifying law degree.
- At least 55% or equivalent grade for unreserved/OBC/Specially Abled Persons and other categories; at least 50% or equivalent grade for SC/ST.
- Selection is through CLAT 2027 merit and applicable reservation/category allocation. Admission to later vacancies, if notified, remains based on CLAT All India Rank.
- Applicants taking their qualifying examination in April/May 2027 may take CLAT 2027 but must produce passing evidence at admission and submit results before admission closes.

Steps:

1. Apply for the applicable postgraduate CLAT cycle and complete its examination and counselling requirements.
2. Follow TNNLU allotment and registration instructions, provide qualifying-degree/category records and complete document verification.
3. Pay the applicable category fees and report as instructed. Apply to any separate vacant-seat notification only if the university issues it.
