## Campus and city

BISTU describes five campuses, with international admissions at No.55 Taihang Road in Changping, Beijing. Its international-student rules allow participation in university sports and cultural activities and use of those campus facilities. Student associations and organised national-festival activities follow approval/registration procedures. Teaching, residence and programme allocations require confirmation; the historical Shahe-campus cover does not establish them.

BISTU’s international admissions address is in Changping, Beijing, while its main footer also lists the Xiaoying address in Haidian. Check your formal teaching and accommodation allocation before selecting travel or daily transport. The published tuition and room charges provide a starting point for budgeting, but the current undergraduate guide does not establish a complete food, commuting or personal-expense budget.

The university describes practical learning and innovation as part of its education. Its Network and New Media subject page presents intelligent communication, content creation and operations monitoring, including photography, video editing, multimedia and interactive design. The Business Administration page describes business-data training, enterprise simulation and production-process simulation; the Artificial Intelligence department describes applied machine-learning and course-design activities. These are general subject descriptions: confirm which activities and modules form the approved English international plan. Access to a particular company, internship or overseas phase is not guaranteed.

## Hostel, food and safety

The 2026 guide quotes double rooms at CNY 6,000 per semester per bed and single rooms at CNY 9,000 per semester per room. Winter and summer holidays are charged separately: CNY 50 per day per bed for a double, or CNY 75 per day per single room. These are semester and daily quotations, not annual totals. The international-student rules require advance university approval for off-campus accommodation and the applicable residence registration. Confirm room availability, dates, campus, deposits and utilities.

The current undergraduate guide does not establish specific dietary provision, halal certification or allergy support. Ask the international college about available dining facilities and whether your dietary requirements can be accommodated on the assigned campus.

Applicants must meet the university’s physical and mental health requirements and submit a medical examination completed within six months. Annual medical insurance is compulsory. Applicants under 18 need the published Beijing-resident guardianship arrangements. Confirm campus welfare and emergency contacts before arrival.

The International Exchange College coordinates admission, insurance, accommodation and international-student administration. Published rules provide campus medical services, psychological counselling through student services and library services for degree students. The undergraduate process includes email notification and an online interview; applicants under 18 follow the distinct Beijing-guardian checklist.

University awards also recognise academic, research, cultural, sporting and campus contributions; no fixed amount is stated.

### Can applicants under 18 apply?

Organised associations and festival activities require approval or registration. Work-study follows university requirements; employment, business and other commercial activity are prohibited under these university rules. Confirm any proposed activity with the international college.
