## Campus and city

The Melvisharam campus brings together arts, science, commerce and research departments. Its official site describes a central library, laboratories, sports and extension activities alongside classroom study. Aided and unaided programmes are distinct admission choices; confirm the section, timetable and attendance arrangements for the selected offer.

The college is at 3, Hakeem Nagar, Anna Salai Main Road, Melvisharam 632509, Ranipet district, Tamil Nadu. This is C. Abdul Hakeem College using cahc.edu.in and its linked admission.hakeemcollege.in portal. C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology is a separate institution with different degrees and admissions.

Science and computing subjects include curriculum-specific practical study, while commerce programmes include different disciplinary and application components. The college describes laboratories, research equipment, academic activities and career guidance on its website. Check the exact degree curriculum, assessment and opportunities; admission does not guarantee an internship, placement or professional licence.

## Hostel, food and safety

The currently linked prospectus describes a college hostel with a separate application to the Deputy Warden. Confirm present room availability, residence eligibility, deposits, mess charges and reporting rules directly. Historical room capacity and old hostel tariffs are not treated as a current accommodation offer; academic admission does not guarantee a room.

The college describes hostel and canteen provision, but current menus, meal charges, allergy handling and medical dietary arrangements have not been verified. Confirm the available meals and any personal dietary requirements before committing to residence or a meal plan.

The college’s published prospectus prohibits ragging, and its site lists grievance and student-support mechanisms. Obtain current reporting contacts and discuss individual access, health and travel needs when enrolling. Policies do not establish an individual safety outcome.

The college lists library resources, career guidance, extension activities and scholarship information. Check the assistance available for the exact aided or unaided route, required certificates and application process. Admission alone does not establish a scholarship, fee concession, placement or accommodation entitlement.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which Abdul Hakeem college is this?

This is the arts and science college in Hakeem Nagar, Melvisharam, using cahc.edu.in and its linked admission.hakeemcollege.in portal. The similarly named engineering and technology college is a separate institution; its programmes, approvals and fees are not transferred here.

### Is this a government-owned college?

The college is managed by the Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society. It has government-aided and unaided programme choices; government funding does not make the institution government-owned. Select the exact funding category when comparing admission and charges.

### Who can use these admission entries?

These entries cover men through the verified regular domestic route. The currently linked prospectus states that the college is not coeducational. Confirm any later audience-policy change directly; women’s, overseas, transfer and lateral-entry admission routes are not established here.

### How long are the included degrees?

The own regulations specify ordinary undergraduate study over three years and six semesters, and postgraduate study over two years and four semesters. These entries do not establish an honours extension, shortened exit or research registration period.

### Which school subjects are needed for UG?

Subject conditions differ. Mathematics applies to Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science; Chemistry applies to Zoology under the DCE group rule. Commerce requires Commerce and Accountancy. Check the exact degree’s conditions and the college’s equivalence and selection requirements.

### What is needed for postgraduate entry?

The included master’s awards have programme-specific qualifying-degree routes. Some alternatives require an equivalence decision or additional subject papers. Read the exact entry and obtain college acceptance of prior study; a bachelor’s degree alone does not establish entry to every master’s award.

### What is the teaching language?

The own undergraduate rules specify English for disciplinary courses, with exceptions for language courses. The postgraduate rules specify English. The B.A. English language-award route is left without a programme-specific medium claim; confirm its arrangements with the department.

### How do I apply?

Start from the college’s current admission page and follow its linked online application portal. Register, enter academic and category details, and select the exact programme and funding category. Follow college selection, interview and original-document instructions; creating an application does not establish a seat.

### What do the published fee amounts include?

The official schedule gives first-year first-term combined charges for aided programmes and named term fees for unaided programmes. These references are not an automatically annualised tuition amount. Compare the selected programme, year, section and category, and confirm examinations, accommodation and other costs separately.

### Why can unaided Commerce have a range?

The current unaided sheet lists different first-year term charges for Commerce sections A and B. The range retains those published section prices; it is not an average or a different-course comparison. Confirm the section and applicable amount before paying.

### Is campus logistics accommodation included with admission?

campus logistics residence has a separate application and allocation process. Ask the Deputy Warden about current eligibility, room availability, deposits, meal arrangements arrangements and reporting requirements. An academic offer or historical campus logistics description does not establish a room.

### When do first-year classes begin?

A programme-specific first-entry teaching month has not been established for these entries. Check the next official application, selection and reporting communication; general semester periods, application dates and examination timetables are not treated as confirmed first-year commencement.
