## Admissions

Select the exact university school and award, match its qualifying subjects or prior degree, and submit records for university scrutiny. Confirm equivalence, current access, category and the complete written fee schedule before acceptance.

## Why students choose it

- Current school-specific academic regulations for regular arts, science and agriculture study.
- Exact qualifying subjects and prior-degree routes can be compared programme by programme.
- Separate degree titles, academic duration and English instruction are identified in current regulations.

## Things to consider

- The 2026 deemed university must be distinguished from similarly named group institutions.
- Historical predecessor-college combined fees are indicative context; current university tariffs require confirmation.
- Professional and medical school listings require exact applicable identity and approval checks.

## Best fit for

- Applicants whose school subjects or prior degree match the exact published route.
- Students seeking regular study at a named Perambalur university school.
- Applicants who will confirm equivalence, category, current access and complete costs before acceptance.

## Campus and city

The current university website identifies separate academic schools and publishes their own regulations and curricula. Select the exact school and programme, then confirm the teaching building, attendance timetable and practical requirements with the admission office before arranging residence.

UGC’s own register gives the university address as Thuraiyur Road, Perambalur 621212, Tamil Nadu. DSIRT is a separate identity from Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan University at Samayapuram and the separately listed Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Institute of Science and Research. A similar group name or location does not establish a common degree-awarding institution.

The arts and science regulations describe regular academic study, assessment and relevant practical or project work. Agriculture has a four-year curriculum with field and practical components. Use the individual curriculum to compare study requirements; no external internship placement, professional registration or employment outcome is guaranteed.

## Hostel, food and safety

The current university website links hostel and campus services, but a verified current residential tariff is not included here. Confirm the actual residence, availability, room category, deposits, mess and refund conditions separately from academic fees.

Ask the relevant residential office about meals and any dietary requirements before accepting accommodation. An academic fee amount does not establish an included meal plan or guaranteed special-diet service.

The university website publishes student-welfare, anti-ragging and grievance links. Retain current reporting contacts and check the relevant school and residence procedures. Published resources do not establish a general safety guarantee.

The admission office assesses qualifying records, programme eligibility and equivalence. Current arts regulations describe selection using qualifying-examination marks and a Tamil Nadu resident-category allocation. Ask for the applicable category and current written fee schedule before making a payment.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan institution is this?

This is DSIRT, the UGC-listed deemed-to-be university at Thuraiyur Road, Perambalur. It is distinct from DSU at Samayapuram and the separately listed DSISR identity.

### What programmes are covered here?

The verified subset covers current regular arts, science and agriculture awards with exact qualifications and duration in university regulations. A general medical-school website listing is not treated as proof of the correct degree-awarding or approval identity.

### What language is used?

The current school regulations specify English instruction. Agriculture explicitly applies English to courses, examinations and project work; language-subject arrangements remain subject to the relevant university rules.

### How long are the degrees?

The current arts regulations prescribe three-year undergraduate and two-year postgraduate regular programmes. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is four years with its own curriculum.

### How are applicants selected?

The university checks academic eligibility and original records and uses qualifying-examination marks under its admission norms. Equivalence, category and applicable regulatory requirements are assessed individually.

### What do the fee figures mean?

Matched arts figures are indicative native annual combined fees from the 2025–26 predecessor-college schedule. They are not isolated tuition or a guaranteed current university tariff. Request current academic and residential charges before payment.

### Are the programmes only for women?

The historical fee source concerns the predecessor College of Arts and Science for Women. Current school regulations do not establish gender access here; confirm present eligibility directly rather than inferring it from a historical price.

### Can overseas applicants use these records?

These records describe the verified domestic academic route. Foreign qualifications, equivalence, seat categories and overseas fees require separate university assessment.

### When does the next intake begin?

Check the applicable university notice for application and reporting dates. No unverified first-entry month or future opening is stated.
