scholarship checklist. Academic schools assess applications and may organise interviews. Advisor acceptance, admission and scholarship selection are separate stages. ## Why students choose it - English bachelor routes with exact programme awards, durations and tuition. - Master study spans engineering, agriculture and language disciplines. - Current scholarship instructions distinguish internal assessment, advisor letters and final funding decisions. ## Things to consider - Some English degree routes require Chinese test papers or an additional Chinese proficiency result. - Research directions and laboratory variants are not automatically separate awards. - Veterinary academic study does not establish a clinical licence or professional registration. ## Best fit for - Applicants ready to meet the exact programme’s language and academic requirements. - Students comparing laboratory, agricultural or engineering research directions. - Applicants who can confirm school, fee and accommodation arrangements before travel. ## Campus and city The College of International Education is based at West Campus in Huaxi, Guiyang. Programme schools and research laboratories may have different teaching arrangements, and a contact-office address does not establish every degree’s location. Confirm the teaching site, supervisor/lab and accommodation assignment before arranging travel. Chinese-language tests or programme conditions can remain relevant to English study. Guizhou University’s international office is in Huaxi, Guiyang, Guizhou. Use the university’s final registration instructions to choose arrival transport and accommodation. The office’s West Campus address is a contact location; confirm where the chosen academic school and residence are assigned rather than assuming every English route takes place at the same site. The international master portfolio includes materials, metallurgical, surveying, mining, safety and agricultural disciplines. Research directions sit within their actual degrees, and applicants should choose them through the university’s official assessment process. Plant Protection and Resource Utilization/Plant Protection have school or laboratory variants, including the State Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides and a China–Sri Lanka research laboratory. These lab names do not by themselves establish a nationality restriction, a separate degree or a guaranteed placement. ## Hostel, food and safety The 2027–2028 Type B scholarship includes free on-campus accommodation for selected recipients. This does not establish a room guarantee for self-funded students or for other award schemes. Confirm available room type, assigned campus, utilities and any payable charges before accepting an offer; no universal room price is verified. Specific dietary provision and kitchen access are not established in the reviewed current degree guides. Discuss food needs and cooking arrangements for the assigned residence before arrival. No specialised-meal guarantee or fixed monthly food budget is assumed. A complete health examination and police certificate are required, normally within six months. Type B scholarship recipients receive comprehensive medical insurance under that award. Other insurance, examination and visa charges depend on the route; verify the university’s instructions before registration. The College of International Education handles international student admissions and management. Students Traffic can help compare public degree details and prepare questions about fees, eligibility and campus assignment. Applicants use the official university process and monitor university messages during assessment. ## Frequently asked questions ### Which bachelor subjects are offered in English? Chemical Biology is a four-year Bachelor of Science route. Veterinary Medicine is a five-year Bachelor of Agriculture route. Both current programme rows offer Chinese or English delivery, and the English annual tuition is CNY 21,500. Select the English route and verify the next-cycle general admissions requirements. ### What English master subjects can I consider? The portfolio includes language and applied linguistics, materials and metallurgical fields, surveying, mining, safety, agricultural resources, plant protection, forestry, animal science, aquaculture, veterinary fields and grassland science. Exact academic and professional awards differ even when two programmes share a broad subject. ### Are research directions separate degrees? Usually they sit within a named programme code and award. Materials, metallurgy, surveying, mining and agricultural fields include several research directions. Plant Protection also has school/laboratory variants. Choose the exact direction and school through university assessment; do not assume that every research-topic row is an additional qualification. ### What language results are required? The 2027 Type B master route requires TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0; its checklist accepts English-medium evidence for university assessment. The latest general undergraduate guide requires IELTS at least 6.0, TOEFL at least 80 or all-high-school-course English-medium evidence, issued within two years. A general checklist’s Duolingo mention does not establish an unverified score threshold. ### Does the linguistics master require Chinese too? Yes. Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics has an explicit 2027 programme note requiring HSK 5 with at least 230, although an English route is available. This programme-specific condition remains alongside English evidence; the generic language conditions do not erase it. ### Which CSCA papers apply to the English bachelor routes? Both Chemical Biology and Veterinary Medicine require Science Chinese, Mathematics and Chemistry in their exact 2027 rows. English degree delivery does not remove the Chinese paper. No score threshold absent from the programme information is invented. These bachelor test requirements are not applied to master admissions. ### What academic and age rules apply? Type B master applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong academic results, GPA/CGPA at least 78% and age generally no more than 35. The latest general undergraduate guide, for 2026, normally gives age 18–25 and high-school graduation or higher. Confirm the next-cycle general undergraduate rules before relying on historical age guidance. ### How much is tuition? English Chemical Biology and Veterinary Medicine bachelor tuition is CNY 21,500 per academic year. The English linguistics master is CNY 24,000, and several engineering routes are CNY 26,000. Some track/lab fee text remains unresolved, so those exact charges require confirmation. Scholarships are separate awards, not an assumed discount. ### What is the 2027 Type B deadline? Submit to Guizhou University by 15 December 2026 for the 2027–2028 scholarship cycle. The university reviews records and may arrange an interview before directing successful applicants to complete the later CSC Type B submission using code 10657. Monitor official email instructions; an early university deadline does not imply the same date for every other route. ### Do I need an advisor letter before applying? Not at the initial Type B document-submission stage. After comprehensive review, successful applicants receive the international-student advisor acceptance letter and upload it to both systems within the requested period. The letter does not establish final admission or scholarship selection. The study plan must exceed 1,000 words; two professor/associate-professor recommendations must be within six months. ### What documents and video are needed? Applicants supply academic records, passport and language evidence, a complete health form and police certificate, with required translations. Type B needs an unedited 2–3 minute self-introduction video; the general undergraduate guide specifies 1–3 minutes in the programme language. Self-funded undergraduates additionally provide their own or a guardian’s financial evidence. Requirements differ by level and funding route. ### Which campus and accommodation will I use? The international contact office is at West Campus in Huaxi, but teaching and residence allocations require confirmation for the chosen school or laboratory. Type B selected recipients receive on-campus accommodation under the scholarship. Room type and self-funded housing prices are not established here. Arrival is late August or early September 2027 for Type B, with the exact date in the offer. ### Does a veterinary degree grant a professional licence? No professional-registration entitlement is established by the academic admissions evidence. The undergraduate award is Bachelor of Agriculture, while master academic and professional programmes have different stated awards. Clinical practice, registration and licensing must be assessed separately under the rules of the intended country. No automatic equivalence, licence or employment outcome is promised. ## Sources - [Guizhou University ug catalogue 2027 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/4d/dc/1f6512214fbb81487f904e68e648/bb1e21fe-79ae-4280-bea7-c125fd89fb0d.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University master catalogue 2027 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/f8/01/096b46224eadbd3bfbda71b16174/30a6d89f-dc7f-435e-a8a6-2eac33e60f39.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University cgs guide 2027 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/32/d7/9ed7f37d4e8bbcfe53c30588bdd8/27ae41a6-963d-48ad-8525-908a7daa4f79.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University ug guide cn 2026 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/66/1a/2d65a0ab43a2aa5f393913d6a600/fbc01ecb-53d2-490d-bcee-bf7e441ca30d.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University ug guide en 2026 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/22/21/27cac38b4291b4d894ec6b148c1e/dfd86ac4-1abb-4ab7-9df5-d13957f503fe.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University university scholarship 2026 pdf](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/_upload/article/files/05/eb/5c4687624b5f83ef12ef4a03e8b1/aa4650f4-2f9c-4474-8fd4-6aa4095def9d.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University international college profile](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/8237/list.htm) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University contact current](https://cie.gzu.edu.cn/lxwm/list.htm) (checked 2026-10-31) - [Guizhou University moe ug disciplines 2026](https://www.moe.gov.cn/srcsite/A08/moe_1034/s3882/202604/W020260427440749576927.pdf) (checked 2026-10-31) - [MOE 2026 national university directory](https://hudong.moe.gov.cn/jyb_xxgk/s5743/s5744/202606/W020260618416094865984.xls) (checked 2026-10-31) ## Free counselling Students Traffic offers free admission counselling for this university and its programmes. - Contact: https://www.studentstraffic.com/contact - WhatsApp: https://wa.me/919176162888 - Phone: +91 91761 62888 - Email: hello@studentstraffic.com
