Fee notes: University of Madras B.Sc. (Blended) 2026-27 prospectus, single fee table for all admitted students: tuition INR 20,000 a year. With laboratory (INR 17,500), special laboratory and computer (INR 4,000 each), soft skills, internet and other charges the total is INR 49,531 in year 1 (including a refundable INR 700 caution deposit) and INR 48,326 in each of years 2 and 3. Foreign students also pay a US$200 repatriation deposit and take medical insurance.

## Teaching phases

- Years 1-2 (English): Common integrated curriculum in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology with six practical classes in each of physics, chemistry and biology, a computation subject each year and an IELTS-based English subject.
- Year 3 (English): Major in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics, with a two-semester research project and an ePortfolio; final exams count 50% and are benchmarked against University of Melbourne students.
