British Columbia is milder, with wet winters and warm dry summers. Alberta is dry and cold in winter. All Canadian university cities are equipped for winter living — heated campuses, indoor pathways, and transit systems ensure students adapt quickly. | China has very different climates by region. Beijing has cold, dry winters, hot summers and four distinct seasons; applicants should check the local climate, air-quality information and housing arrangements for the specific university city. |

Canada
Canada is one of the world's most accessible destinations for Indian nursing students. CASN-accredited four-year BScN programs are taught entirely in English, and graduates enter the CNO registration and NCLEX-RN pathway as Canadian-educated nurses — a structural advantage over internationally educated nurses competing for the same RN licences.
Admission process
China
China offers a broad higher-education system spanning engineering, computing, business, sciences, architecture, public policy and the humanities. International applicants should compare programme language, nationality rules, entrance routes, fees, scholarship conditions and student-visa requirements institution by institution.
Admission process
Canada
The combination of English-medium education, globally recognised CASN accreditation, and a Post-Graduation Work Permit that opens Express Entry healthcare draws makes Canada the leading destination for Indian nursing students with long-term settlement ambitions. Healthcare draws in 2024–25 cleared at CRS scores of 462–476, meaning a BScN graduate with Canadian work experience has a realistic permanent residency timeline of three to five years after graduation.

China
Students consider China for its large research universities, extensive technical and scientific training, growing English-taught graduate provision and government scholarship routes. The practical trade-off is that many undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are Chinese-medium or bilingual, while English-taught options have their own eligibility, language and deadline rules.
