Seneca Polytechnic

Seneca has on-campus residence at some campuses. Most nursing students live off-campus in Scarborough, North York, or Markham (CAD 900–1,200/month shared). The Indian community in these areas is extensively developed and assists new arrivals.

Seneca's collaborative program with York provides both institutions' academic and student support resources. International Student Services, NCLEX-RN preparation, and nursing-specific academic advisors are in place.

York University

York offers residence at Keele Campus and publishes an 8-month residence estimate of CAD 9,000–13,000. Its 2026–27 living-cost guidance estimates food or a meal plan at CAD 4,350–8,000 in residence, personal expenses at CAD 4,200 and health and dental care at CAD 359 for the stated domestic estimate; international students should confirm the applicable health-plan amount, which York lists separately. Off-campus housing is a separate Toronto-area budget and availability is not guaranteed.

York International supports international students with immigration and arrival guidance, while Lassonde provides programme and academic support for Engineering students. Schulich states that its international-student support covers the application process, immigration requirements, settlement in Toronto and career preparation. Students can also use academic advising, accessibility, counselling, writing and career services, subject to the current eligibility and booking rules of each service.
