Two caterers, Bluspring Indya Foods and BlueDove, run the messes; students choose through the SpaceBasic app and can switch every two months. The mess fee may be revised in-year if food costs rise. Cafeterias, food courts and a departmental store operate in the hostel area, and vendor outlets deliver to blocks from 11 pm to 2 am.
Men's and women's hostels have separate entrances, 24-hour security and a warden and caretakers in each block. A resident doctor and an ambulance are on the hostel premises, and students are taken to hospital when needed. MUJ names an anti-ragging committee for 2026-27 under UGC regulations, and a proctorial board and grievance redressal committee handle discipline cases.
