Sharda states that the campus, hostels, parking and academic areas are guarded 24x7 by outsourced security agencies with armed guards, and a centralised command and control centre monitors about 1,450 CCTV cameras. Each hostel has a warden and a faculty-in-charge. Emergency vans and ambulances are based on campus, with Sharda Hospital on site. The International Relations Division checks documents at reporting, registers students, and guides FRO/FRRO registration, visa extensions and residence-permit changes. New arrivals get a free medical check-up at Sharda Hospital and a medical-insurance card. IRD also helps open an Indian bank account. University ID cards are issued about 10 days after registration. Confidential counselling is available for personal and study-related concerns.
