Training & support
Practical training & industry exposure
Practical content is written into the degree structure rather than added around it. The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering curriculum carries credited Internship-I in semester three and Internship-II in semester five alongside laboratory-based core courses, and every undergraduate takes a four-part Foreign Business Language sequence choosing from Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Russian, Sanskrit or Spanish. All B.Tech programmes other than the Evening, 3 Continent and International variants include a five-week Study Abroad Programme at no additional tuition fee, and the two-year MBA carries the same five-week option. Non-Teaching Credit Courses and career-aspiration courses are separately credited, and a Non-Teaching Credit Course Review Committee sits in the university's formal committee structure. QAA's 2023 International Quality Review named the university's mentoring programme and the breadth of its graduate-employment transition initiatives as features of good practice. The university also runs an Innovation Incubator and a Directorate of Innovation and Technology Transfer, and holds recognition as a Scientific and Research Organisation from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.
