Training & support
Practical training & industry exposure
TTPU was co-founded with JSC Uzavtosanoat (Uzbekistan's state automotive group) and General Motors, and maintains an industry partnership with MAN Truck & Bus, reflecting its original mandate to train engineers for the automotive, mechanical and construction sectors. The on-campus Techno Park functions as a company incubator with more than 25 active student and industry innovation projects. All five Italian-track Bachelor's programmes are taught partly by Politecnico di Torino faculty and examined by Italian professors; students on these tracks may complete their final semester in Italy at Politecnico di Torino's home Turin campus, at a discounted tuition rate there. The Industrial Manufacturing Technologies programme is built specifically around learning-by-doing and learning-by-thinking methodology, with laboratory and project activity plus three separate company-based internship periods forming a large part of the three-year course. The Automotive Engineering programme centres on vehicle-system and sub-system design and production, including interdisciplinary component-design project work.
