Northumbria Law School's award-winning Student Law Office, established in 1991, lets LLB and LLM students provide supervised free legal advice and representation to real clients across housing, welfare, employment, family and business law, having secured over GBP 1.6 million in compensation for clients to date -- genuine casework ahead of SQE or Bar training. Newcastle Business School's AACSB double accreditation (business and accounting, the first in Europe) covers 18-plus EPAS-accredited undergraduate programmes and connects MBA and MSc students to a Business Advisory Board of external senior leaders and a student-facing Business Clinic. Architecture BA (Hons) and MArch students design in RIBA-validated, (for now) ARB-accredited studios on live and simulated briefs, while Computer Science and Networks and Cyber Security BSc students can take optional Cisco CCNA certification modules through the Cisco Networking Academy. Fashion BA (Hons) runs as a four-year sandwich course with an integrated industry placement year; Product Design BA (Hons) uses industry-set live briefs; and Geography students complete annual UK and European fieldwork.
