In India, a B.E./B.Tech EEE degree is valid when it is awarded by a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). A college that is not a university itself is affiliated to one, which sets the syllabus, holds the examinations and awards the degree. Technical programmes such as engineering and management also need AICTE approval, and NAAC accreditation grades the quality of the institution.
Students Traffic checks these approvals before shortlisting any college for you.
Approvals and accreditation grades are renewed periodically. Check the current status on the regulator's or affiliating university's official list before paying any fees.
