Data Structures and Algorithms (three-part course), Machine Learning (two-part course), Databases and Operating Systems (two-part course), building toward applied R&D project work with MIPT's technology-industry partners (Huawei, ABBYY, Yandex, Sberbank, Tinkoff) in MIPT's own laboratories.
Tuition fee and hostel estimate
Year-wise cost data is not currently published for this program.
Training & support
Practical training & industry exposure
MIPT's 'Phystech System' places undergraduates directly into research laboratories and industry-partnered projects from their first year rather than treating research as a later add-on. Computer Science students work with the university's partner technology companies -- including Huawei, ABBYY, Yandex, Sberbank and Tinkoff -- on applied R&D projects run out of MIPT's own laboratories, with high-achieving students also eligible for exchange programmes and internships through MIPT's international-university partnerships. Biomedical Engineering students are placed in laboratory and project work with leading Russian research institutes, including the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (RAS), the Rogachev National Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology, the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry (RAS), the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Care and the Vavilov Institute of General Genetics (RAS), and can also join commercial biomedical start-up projects. MIPT's own Phystech.Start business accelerator supports student entrepreneurship projects as part of the standard curriculum.
