Master's in Information and Communication Engineering at Dalian Maritime University: Eligibility & Requirements

Keep the standard English route and the CSC funding route conditions distinct.

• Be a foreign citizen holding a valid passport, in good physical and mental health, aged 18–40, and hold a valid bachelor’s degree.
• Standard English proof: recognised IELTS/TOEFL-type certificate or an English-medium undergraduate certificate. No numeric minimum is stated for the standard route.
• Official-English-language applicants have the stated proof exemption. Applicants unable to provide certificates must pass DMU’s equivalent English test.
• Applicable Chinese-origin applicants: foreign nationality/passport at least four years, with two years abroad in the last four; nine months of residence counts as one year. Confirm exact evidence with admissions.
• Write a study/research plan exceeding 1,000 Chinese characters or English words, clearly identifying the research direction, academic/work background, research, goals and plans.
• Provide two recommendations from professors or associate professors.
• CSC master’s route: bachelor’s degree and age under 35, rather than the standard 18–40 range.
• CSC English: IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 90, or English-medium certificate plus DMU written/interview test; official-English-language exemption stated.
• Open to: International bachelor’s graduates meeting the exact admission-route requirements
• Standard admission age 18–40 differs from CSC master’s age under 35.
• Use the exact standard or scholarship application process; their systems and English evidence differ.
• A particular research direction and supervisor must be confirmed with the teaching college.
• CSC subject eligibility must be confirmed against the exact 2027 scholarship catalogue; the separate attachment requires a CAPTCHA, so this draft does not assert that every regular English master is funded.
