A BMDC-recognized one-year rotatory internship, which can be completed at DCIMC's own 500-bed teaching hospital, carries a subsistence allowance and concludes with an internship certificate.

Clinical training runs through DCIMC's own attached teaching hospital, Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital, which the college describes as a 500-bed facility (a separate, uncorroborated third-party figure of 250 beds also circulates; the college's own current figure is used here). Named hospital facilities include 24-hour casualty and emergency service, 24-hour pathology and imaging/radiology/ECG including ultrasound, ICU, NICU and HDU, haemodialysis, endoscopy, ventilator care under Anaesthesiology, a computerized Pulmonary Function Lab, Surgical and Medical ICUs, a Trauma Care unit, a blood bank, an Obstetrics and Gynaecology block, and IVF services. Pre-clinical and clinical departments include Anatomy, Bio-chemistry, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Medicine and Allied Subjects, Microbiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, and Surgery and Allied Subjects. The five academic years are followed by a compulsory one-year BMDC-recognized rotatory internship, which can be completed at the same hospital and carries a subsistence allowance.
