B.Tech. Computer Science and Business System at Easwari Engineering College: Eligibility & Requirements

The academic-stream route requires higher-secondary mathematics, physics and chemistry and eligibility under a permitted TNEA category. OCI/PIO and refugee provisions have additional restrictions.

• Pass HSC academic first and second years (+1 and +2), or an accepted equivalent, with mathematics, physics and chemistry.
• Minimum Class 12 PCM average: 45% for general-category applicants; 40% for eligible Tamil Nadu BC/BCM, MBC/DNC, SC/SCA/ST applicants.
• Indian applicants must satisfy TNEA nativity, Tamil Nadu schooling or the specified parental-employment/service exceptions.
• OCI/PIO cardholders must be Tamil Nadu natives; those born in a foreign country after 4 March 2021 are excluded from this provision.
• Sri Lankan Tamil refugees must have studied in Tamil Nadu and provide the required refugee identification records.
• The OCI/PIO and Sri Lankan Tamil refugee provisions are open-category/open-competition routes, not communal-reservation entitlements.
• Eligibility must be met by the application closing date; later qualification results do not establish eligibility for that cycle.
• Open to: Indian nationals meeting a specified TNEA 2026 nativity/schooling/parent-service category
• Open to: Tamil Nadu-native OCI/PIO cardholders within the specific TNEA exception
• Open to: Sri Lankan Tamil refugees who studied in Tamil Nadu and meet the stated documentation rule
• This listing covers only first-year academic-stream government-quota TNEA seats at Easwari Engineering College, not an independently verified foreign/NRI quota, management, vocational or lateral-entry route.
• Indian applicants must satisfy one of the six TNEA nativity, Tamil Nadu schooling or parent-service categories detailed below; an Indian passport alone is insufficient.
• Tamil Nadu candidates who passed Classes VIII–XII in Tamil Nadu may apply without a nativity certificate. Tamil Nadu natives who studied any of those classes outside the state require a digitally signed nativity certificate.
• Children of Central Government employees qualify irrespective of nativity if a parent—or guardian only where both parents are deceased—served continuously in Tamil Nadu for five years; employer evidence is required.
• Children of permanent public-sector or government-recognised-institution employees qualify irrespective of domicile with five continuous years of Tamil Nadu employment and the specified employer/supporting records.
• Children of All India Service Tamil Nadu-cadre officers require a parental declaration. Other-state candidates who studied Classes VIII–XII in Tamil Nadu may apply without a nativity certificate.
• The parent-service and other-state schooling categories are considered under Open Competition; communal reservation requires Tamil Nadu nativity and the prescribed state community certificate.
• Tamil Nadu-native OCI/PIO cardholders may participate under Open Category, except those born in a foreign country after 4 March 2021. Do not broaden this to every OCI/PIO or foreign applicant.
• Sri Lankan Tamil refugees who studied in Tamil Nadu may participate under Open Competition with Headquarters Tahsildar identification; those outside refugee-camp registration also need original passport, visa and police-registration letter.

Exact TNEA 2026 applicant rules are joined to the current government college1304 branch matrix and approved-intake directory. This is not a claim of current vacancy, future-cycle admission or unrestricted overseas access.
