Basics of Measurements and Metrology, Electronics, Signals and Systems, Analogue Devices, Power Electronics and Energy Converters, Electric Power Economics and Market and Smart Electric Power Systems, closing with a mandatory 15-credit Professional Internship and a 15-credit Bachelor's Degree Final Project in the final semester; applicants can also apply for a Litgrid-funded scholarship of EUR 375/month during their first year.

Practical training & industry exposure
Practical training is built into each of the eight programmes here rather than offered as an optional add-on. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aviation Engineering and Industrial Engineering students train on GUNT (Germany) systems, Mitutoyo measuring equipment, 3D prototyping equipment, CNC machining centres and Festo MPS/Robotino robotic kits, and can earn internationally recognised Dassault Systèmes CAD/CAE certificates alongside their degree. Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering all route students into a chosen specialisation from Year 3 (for example Mechanical Engineering's Biomechanics, Mechanical Systems Design, Robotics Engineering or Thermal Systems Engineering pathways) and close with a supervised Product Development Project or equivalent design project. Aviation Engineering's curriculum was developed with input from Lithuania's Transport Competence Authority and offers a pathway where students can dedicate two full semesters to placements only. Electronics and Electrical Engineering — described by KTU as the only programme of its kind in Lithuania — closes with a mandatory 15-credit Professional Internship alongside a 15-credit Bachelor's Degree Final Project in its final semester. Artificial Intelligence and Informatics students work with KTU's High-Performance Computing infrastructure; one recent KTU student has described joining the SKILLed AI Talent Academy and completing an internship at Centric IT Solutions, an international company based in Kaunas, while pursuing their studies.
