Jerusalem College of Engineering (JCE) has been an autonomous college since 2019-20: UGC conferred autonomy for 2019-20 to 2028-29, so JCE sets its own Regulation 2023 curricula and runs its own examinations, while Anna University awards the degree. AICTE requires an internship for every admitted student. The college lists an AICTE IDEA Lab, a business incubator and placement training, and reported a 96 per cent placement rate in its TNEA 2026 entry without stating the year or base.
