• Former Chinese citizens applying as international students need at least four years of foreign passport/nationality evidence and at least two years of residence abroad, with individual document review.

• Take CSCA Mathematics using the English test paper. Professional Chinese is not required for the current English choice; programme-specific catalogue annotations still need review.
• Bring original paper qualifications and supporting records at registration; missing/inconsistent originals can cancel admission.
• Open to: Non-Chinese international applicants satisfying the exact SMU 2027 programme conditions
• Current English specialist brochure visually proves 4 years, Bachelor of Engineering and CNY 20000 annual tuition. It advertises 30 April 2027 deadline, while general self-financed guide says 30 May 2027; confirm route/funding-specific cutoff. Curriculum targets STCW operational competencies; no automatic licence, Co C/Co P, nationality eligibility, berth, fixed sea-training duration or foreign-country registration is inferred. Neutral Nautical Science parent does not claim BSc equivalence.
• Exact awarded qualification: Bachelor of Engineering, exact specialist English brochure.
• Current programme-specific admission and assessment apply; scholarship, placement, exchange and employment outcomes are not guaranteed.
