Clinical exposure
Clinical training begins early: from the first year, theoretical modules are paired with hands-on simulation activities in the campus Simulation Centre, and structured clerkships begin in the third year at Humanitas Research Hospital and other Humanitas Group-affiliated hospitals, under supervision from clinical tutors. Humanitas Research Hospital is a large, research-oriented teaching hospital directly attached to the university campus, giving students routine exposure to a working clinical environment rather than periodic hospital visits. The university also brings in internationally recognised clinicians and researchers as Visiting Professors, including several Nobel Prize laureates who contribute through guest lectures and the Research International Advisory Board rather than as core resident faculty, adding an extra layer of international academic exposure alongside standard coursework.
