Practical training is course-specific: Architecture students use dedicated design studios and workshops toward RIBA/ARB-validated Part 1 and Part 2 qualifications; Business School students on the MSc International Business Management and Global MBA access AMBA- and EFMD-accredited teaching and industry mentoring; Motorsport and Mechanical Engineering students use motorsport labs and industry links (course held pending taxonomy mapping); Hospitality Management students benefit from the Bacchus Mentoring Scheme and placement support with organisations that have included Marriott and BAFTA; and pre-registration Nursing students complete NMC-mandated clinical placements split roughly 50/50 between theory and supervised practice. Many undergraduate courses offer an optional sandwich placement year.
