Master's Software Engineering at Northeastern University (China): Eligibility & Requirements

The university’s current international admission rules control entry. Programme teaching and graduation requirements remain distinct from language evidence for application.

• Non-Chinese citizen in good health, holding a bachelor’s degree; under 35 for the published 2027 Type B scholarship route.
• For English study, in principle TOEFL 80, IELTS 5.5 or Duolingo 100; previous-stage English instruction evidence is also accepted.
• Official-English-country applicants are exempt from English certificates. Otherwise, without listed evidence, the supervisor and department may assess language by interview or written test.
• The scholarship route requires applications through both CSC Type B, agency number 10145, and NEU; admission and scholarship selection remain competitive.
• Open to: International applicants meeting the applicable NEU academic, nationality, language and admission-route requirements

The current 2027 application calendar and scholarship qualifications are Type B-specific; general self-funded 2027 dates are unverified.
