Practical training & industry exposure
The 2025 engineering regulations provide for theory, practical or laboratory-integrated courses, internships and project work. The standard B.Tech. route has eight semesters over four years. Admission by lateral entry or credit transfer has separate rules and should not be treated as the first-semester school-leaver route.
