Recognition and accreditation status of B.E./B.Tech IT at Thiagarajar College of Engineering — badges and official verification links.
In India, a B.E./B.Tech IT degree is valid when it is awarded by a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). A college that is not a university itself is affiliated to one, which sets the syllabus, holds the examinations and awards the degree. Technical programmes such as engineering and management also need approval, and accreditation grades the quality of the institution.
