Clinical exposure
The six-year, 360-ECTS MD programme begins longitudinal, primary-care-focused clinical placements from Year 2, increases clinical intensity through Years 3-4 (including a Year 4 transition rotation across Primary Care, General Surgery and Internal Medicine plus a research project), and moves to an almost entirely clinical structure in Years 5-6, with rotating sub-specialty placements (cardiology, respiratory, gastroenterology, nephrology/urology, paediatrics, obstetrics/gynaecology, psychiatry, neurology and more) culminating in a 6-week clinical elective that can be taken abroad.
