Clinical exposure
Clinical training is organized at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), the Faculty's designated teaching-base hospital, under a formal cooperation agreement between the University of Sarajevo and KCUS covering teaching, scientific-research and publishing activity across the Faculty of Medicine and several allied health faculties. The programme runs as a single integrated first-and-second Bologna cycle: six years, 12 semesters, 360 ECTS credits and 5,600 total contact hours, entered directly from secondary school and leading to the professional title of Medical Doctor. Selection for the English-medium track combines secondary-school academic ranking (with weighting on Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English) with a mandatory structured interview assessing English proficiency, communication skills, motivation and general impression, rather than a separate written entrance exam.
