Question 1

What English trade degrees are available?

Accepted Answer

The formal 2026 guide names International Economics and Trade, programme code 020401, as a four-year English bachelor, and International Trade, code 020206, as a three-year English master. Both are in the Business School. Doctoral engineering and science entries belong to a different qualification level and are not master offerings.

Question 2

What will I study?

Accepted Answer

The bachelor combines economics, international trade, finance, marketing, management, settlement, negotiation, e-commerce and trade simulation. Master study adds trade theory and policy, research methods, academic writing and statistics. Chinese language and knowledge of China are part of both curricula. No paid placement or employment outcome is guaranteed.

Question 3

What English evidence do I need?

Accepted Answer

The formal 2026 bachelor standard is IELTS Academic 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 70, or an accepted equivalent. Masters use IELTS Academic 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80. Qualifying English-medium high-school study for bachelors, or highest-qualification study for masters, can waive the test with an official teaching-language certificate. Confirm which evidence applies to your case.

Question 4

Does the bachelor need an entrance test?

Accepted Answer

The live international programme website expressly requires a CSCA score for bachelor applicants. Its exact subject papers and examination language are not established in the formal guide or the inspected programme detail, so confirm them directly before applying. The master follows its separate graduate document checklist.

Question 5

What academic and age conditions apply?

Accepted Answer

Bachelors need high-school graduation or above; current students submit pre-graduation proof and final originals at registration. The 2026 guide requires a guardian-in-China guarantee for applicants under 18 by 1 September 2026. Masters need age 18 or older, a bachelor’s degree or above, good academic results and good health. No unproved regular-guide maximum age is added.

Question 6

Which documents are required?

Accepted Answer

Prepare a valid passport, white-background digital photo, notarised highest diploma and transcripts, accepted English evidence, the physical examination form, blood-test report and financial evidence. Masters add two recommendation letters. The brochure’s research proposal requirement is doctoral-only; a universal master research proposal, supervisor letter or minimum word count is not added.

Question 7

How much financial evidence is needed?

Accepted Answer

The formal application flow requires an applicant or sponsor bank balance of at least CNY 30,000 or USD 5,000. Its later upload step says the evidence must be valid for six months from the electronic offer date. This is not presented as a six-month transaction-history or funds-holding rule. Confirm the accepted bank format with AHUT.

Question 8

When should I apply?

Accepted Answer

The formal 2026 window was 15 March–15 June, with the same 15 June scholarship deadline. Confirm the next formal calendar and exact registration instructions directly before relying on a future date or booking travel; no upcoming intake month is inferred here.

Question 9

What are tuition and housing charges?

Accepted Answer

The 2026 English tuition schedule is CNY 26,000 per academic year for the bachelor and CNY 30,000 for the master. Double housing is CNY 3,000/year/person, subject to application and allocation. Medical insurance is CNY 800/year. Confirm the next schedule and final invoice; no scholarship discount is applied to these reference prices.

Question 10

How do the application charge and deposit work?

Accepted Answer

The published flow asks for CNY 400 application charge plus CNY 2,000 seat reservation, CNY 2,400 in total, following online status review. Both are non-refundable. The CNY 2,000 is credited toward accommodation after registration, so it is not an additional recurring room charge. Upload the receipt as instructed and confirm official payment details before remitting funds.

Question 11

What other living costs should I plan for?

Accepted Answer

The 2026 guide lists residence permit CNY 400/year, books about CNY 500/year, living expenses about CNY 1,000/month and a health examination about CNY 400. These are separate published references or estimates, depending on personal consumption and current charges. Do not treat a website’s illustrative annual total as a complete bill including all one-time costs.

Question 12

What scholarships can I apply for?

Accepted Answer

The 2026 Study in Anhui reference is CNY 20,000/year for bachelors and CNY 30,000 for masters. Study at AHUT ranges CNY 5,000–20,000/year for either level. The guide says applicants cannot apply for both schemes concurrently. Award selection and annual review remain university decisions; these are not guaranteed discounts. Separate achievement awards and campus work-study support follow their own notices.

Question 13

Where will I study and what support is available?

Accepted Answer

Both trade programmes are in the Business School, but the Xiushan admissions address does not establish every classroom or residence allocation. Confirm the assigned campus and room. The international education office coordinates student administration, teaching, visa/residence assistance, scholarship review and cultural activities. An exact HSK graduation test is not specified by the formal guide despite Chinese-language coursework.
