Campus life, Indian student community, food options, and day-to-day living at Beijing Information Science and Technology University in Beijing.
BISTU describes five campuses, with international admissions at No.55 Taihang Road in Changping, Beijing. Its international-student rules allow participation in university sports and cultural activities and use of those campus facilities. Student associations and organised national-festival activities follow approval/registration procedures. Teaching, residence and programme allocations require confirmation; the historical Shahe-campus cover does not establish them.
The 2026 guide quotes double rooms at CNY 6,000 per semester per bed and single rooms at CNY 9,000 per semester per room. Winter and summer holidays are charged separately: CNY 50 per day per bed for a double, or CNY 75 per day per single room. These are semester and daily quotations, not annual totals. The international-student rules require advance university approval for off-campus accommodation and the applicable residence registration. Confirm room availability, dates, campus, deposits and utilities.
