Which institution is covered here?

What do aided and self-financed routes mean?

The college publishes separate aided Shift I and unaided Shift II programmes and admission codes. The same subject can have different qualifying-subject requirements in the two streams. Select the exact route and obtain its timetable and fee statement.

Who can use these programme entries?

These entries cover verified regular domestic qualification routes. Meet the exact Higher Secondary subjects or qualifying degree and complete the college’s assessment and original-document checks. Foreign-national, overseas-qualification and visa arrangements need separate verification.

What Higher Secondary subjects are required?

Requirements vary by award. Aided Mathematics requires Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the department specifies at least 60%; aided Commerce General requires Commerce, Accountancy and Mathematics or Business Mathematics. Other routes have their own subject combinations; use the exact programme entry.

Are the courses taught in English?

For the unchanged awards included here, the college’s named February 2022 programme table records English and the same titles continue in its 2026–27 portfolio. The newer B.Sc. Criminology scheme explicitly specifies English. Confirm current teaching arrangements for the selected programme before enrolment.

When did undergraduate orientation take place?

The college’s January 2026 newsletter records the Prelude first-year orientation from 6–14 July 2025, led by Foundation English. The July label is a historical undergraduate orientation baseline, not a future application window or independently confirmed universal first teaching day.

What intake evidence is used for the PG entries?

Department records give first-entry induction in July 2024 for Mathematics, Biochemistry and Information Technology and August 2024 for Human Resource Management. These are historical orientation dates for those exact routes; check current admission availability and reporting dates separately.

Are annual tuition fees published?

The current college fee-structure page says it will be updated. Application charges are published separately and do not establish tuition. Annual tuition is on request here; obtain an itemised degree, shift and category quote, including other compulsory and living charges.

How is undergraduate selection handled?

The current counselling schedules use programme-specific cut-offs on the relevant Higher Secondary subjects and require the notified form and original documents. Being called for counselling does not guarantee a seat; provisional selection depends on the applicable ranking and available places.

How does Human Resource Management admission work?

The departmental prospectus lists an accepted bachelor’s degree in any discipline and selection using undergraduate CGPA, an entrance test, group discussion and personal interview. Work-experience applicants may apply. Confirm the next notified departmental schedule and document requirements.

Is campus logistics accommodation included?

The college describes an on-campus campus logistics with vegetarian daily living and specified room and recreation facilities. Confirm applicant eligibility, availability, residence rules, deposits and the full campus logistics and meal arrangements fee separately. A programme offer does not guarantee accommodation.

What recognition has been verified?

The UGC’s own list records autonomous status for 2022–23 to 2031–32, and the University of Madras lists the college among its aided affiliated autonomous colleges. These institutional statuses do not automatically establish approval for every professional programme or a new award.
