Question 1

Which English programmes are currently verified?

Accepted Answer

The current 2027/2028 CSC notice explicitly names four English master’s subjects: International Trade, Tourism Management, Financial Management and Enterprise Management. Their starred appendix entries corroborate the list. Current unrestricted self-funded recruitment and international English undergraduate admission are not independently established by the reviewed current notices.

Question 2

How long do these master’s programmes take?

Accepted Answer

The exact 2027/2028 scholarship notice gives 2.5 years. The standing university brochure, prepared in March 2024, describes a generic 2–2.5 year master’s range; it does not override the current precise duration for these four scholarship routes. Older subject-list or GIME durations are not silently transferred.

Question 3

Who can apply for the current scholarship route?

Accepted Answer

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good mental and physical health, hold a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 when applying for master’s study. The notice also requires compliance with university rules and prohibits another scholarship at the same time. Academic and document assessment follows the university’s official process.

Question 4

What English score is required?

Accepted Answer

The current 2027 notice requires relevant language certificates, such as IELTS or TOEFL, according to the university’s requirements, but does not give a numeric minimum. Older standing pages give different IELTS levels, and theMarch 2024 brochure says 6.0. No exact 2027 numeric threshold is asserted; obtain programme-specific confirmation before relying on a score.

Question 5

Must I obtain a supervisor letter before applying?

Accepted Answer

The current master’s checklist requires academic documents, language evidence, a study plan, two professor or associate professor recommendations and other supporting documents. Its optional acceptance-letter statement expressly concerns doctoral applicants. The exact master’s supervision requirement should therefore be confirmed rather than inferred from the doctoral instruction.

Question 6

How and when do I apply?

Accepted Answer

Apply directly through DUFE’s international student system and the CSC system, choosing Type B and agency number 10173. A wrong agency number prevents acceptance. The current deadline is 7 March 2027 and classes start inSeptember 2027. Required documents go to both systems; the notice says postal hard copies are unnecessary.

Question 7

What funding is described?

Accepted Answer

The current scheme conditionally covers tuition, accommodation fees, comprehensive medical insurance and a CNY 3,000 monthly master’s living allowance. Type B international travel expenses are excluded. The scholarship period specified in the admission notice cannot in principle be extended, and no simultaneous other scholarship is allowed. Selection is not guaranteed by programme availability.

Question 8

What tuition and application charges are published?

Accepted Answer

The currently linked university brochure was prepared in March 2024 and quotes CNY 35,000 annual English master tuition and CNY 1,000 application. Those are edition-specific native amounts, not confirmed 2027 charges. The programme fee remains on request, with a clearly labelled indicative historical quote. Confirm actual charges and scholarship coverage with admissions before paying.

Question 9

Can international students apply to English undergraduate or joint programmes?

Accepted Answer

The SIE/GIME pages retain 2018 or 2022 start details and a historical Ulster option. The linkedMarch 2024 university brochure advertises Chinese-medium undergraduate study. Current Surrey pages do not establish non-Chinese international eligibility for every advertised English or partially English route. Ask DUFE for a current international admission notice confirming eligibility, award, duration and fees before planning one of these routes.

Question 10

What does Financial Management focus on?

Accepted Answer

The university’s native catalogue places Financial Management within academic Business Administration. Its standing English profile lists financial management, corporate finance, financial accounting theory, accounting information systems and international financial issues. Confirm the exact award title and 2027 training plan with the school; the current scholarship list does not name an MBA qualification.

Question 11

Which documents need special attention?

Accepted Answer

Prepare notarised highest diploma or student-status proof, sealed transcripts from undergraduate level onward, language evidence, a study plan containing more than 1,000 characters or words in Chinese/English, two academic recommendations and a resume. Renew a passport that expires before March 2028. The medical form is valid six months, and the non-criminal record is normally issued within six months; follow translation and original-document instructions.

Question 12

What accommodation and campus arrangements should I check?

Accepted Answer

The current scheme covers accommodation fees, but the notice does not guarantee a particular room or teaching building. The standing brochure describes international accommodation with bedding, bathroom, desk, wardrobe, shared kitchen/laundry and Wi-Fi. Its historic monthly/daily prices should be confirmed for the new cohort and are not annualised. The admission office address is administrative, not proof that all teaching occurs there.

Question 13

Who provides official admission guidance?

Accepted Answer

The current notice names the International Students Admission Office at scholarship@dufe.edu.cn, +86 411 84712106. General international office contact is study@dufe.edu.cn, +86 411 84712106/84710885, 217 Jianshan Street, Shahekou District, Dalian 116025. Use the official process: the scholarship notice asks applicants to apply directly and cautions against consulting agencies or third parties. University and CSC decisions govern admission and funding.
