Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute: Hostel & Accommodation

The university prospectus describes separate hostels for male and female students, furnished rooms, dining areas, laundry facilities, Internet access and resident staff. Confirm the hostel serving the assigned teaching block, room availability, allocation rules and complete charges before arranging a stay. Accommodation is separate from the published programme-fee range.

The prospectus describes campus canteens serving South and North Indian meals and other food options. Check current mess or canteen availability, special dietary requirements and charges for the assigned teaching campus; food costs are separate from the programme-fee quotation.

The Chennai university contact campus is at Maduravoyal on E.V.R. Periyar Salai. Arts and science departments publish regular coursework and practical curricula alongside student academic activities. Confirm the actual teaching block with the department; ARNI off-campus and Bengaluru constituent-college entries have separate location and admission scope.

The hostel description identifies security staff, surveillance cameras, access control and resident support. These measures do not guarantee safety; ask for current reporting rules, local emergency contacts and grievance support for the assigned campus. The university describes library print and electronic resources, study facilities and student support services. Faculty regulations provide academic counselling and advisers. Confirm access, timing and assistance with the chosen department and teaching campus.
