Guizhou University: FAQ

The 2027 Type B master route requires TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6.0; its checklist accepts English-medium evidence for university assessment. The latest general undergraduate guide requires IELTS at least 6.0, TOEFL at least 80 or all-high-school-course English-medium evidence, issued within two years. A general checklist’s Duolingo mention does not establish an unverified score threshold.

Yes. Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics has an explicit 2027 programme note requiring HSK 5 with at least 230, although an English route is available. This programme-specific condition remains alongside English evidence; the generic language conditions do not erase it.

Both Chemical Biology and Veterinary Medicine require Science Chinese, Mathematics and Chemistry in their exact 2027 rows. English degree delivery does not remove the Chinese paper. No score threshold absent from the programme information is invented. These bachelor test requirements are not applied to master admissions.

Type B master applicants need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong academic results, GPA/CGPA at least 78% and age generally no more than 35. The latest general undergraduate guide, for 2026, normally gives age 18–25 and high-school graduation or higher. Confirm the next-cycle general undergraduate rules before relying on historical age guidance.

English Chemical Biology and Veterinary Medicine bachelor tuition is CNY 21,500 per academic year. The English linguistics master is CNY 24,000, and several engineering routes are CNY 26,000. Some track/lab fee text remains unresolved, so those exact charges require confirmation. Scholarships are separate awards, not an assumed discount.

Submit to Guizhou University by 15 December 2026 for the 2027–2028 scholarship cycle. The university reviews records and may arrange an interview before directing successful applicants to complete the later CSC Type B submission using code 10657. Monitor official email instructions; an early university deadline does not imply the same date for every other route.

Not at the initial Type B document-submission stage. After comprehensive review, successful applicants receive the international-student advisor acceptance letter and upload it to both systems within the requested period. The letter does not establish final admission or scholarship selection. The study plan must exceed 1,000 words; two professor/associate-professor recommendations must be within six months.

Applicants supply academic records, passport and language evidence, a complete health form and police certificate, with required translations. Type B needs an unedited 2–3 minute self-introduction video; the general undergraduate guide specifies 1–3 minutes in the programme language. Self-funded undergraduates additionally provide their own or a guardian’s financial evidence. Requirements differ by level and funding route.

The international contact office is at West Campus in Huaxi, but teaching and residence allocations require confirmation for the chosen school or laboratory. Type B selected recipients receive on-campus accommodation under the scholarship. Room type and self-funded housing prices are not established here. Arrival is late August or early September 2027 for Type B, with the exact date in the offer.

No professional-registration entitlement is established by the academic admissions evidence. The undergraduate award is Bachelor of Agriculture, while master academic and professional programmes have different stated awards. Clinical practice, registration and licensing must be assessed separately under the rules of the intended country. No automatic equivalence, licence or employment outcome is promised.
